Team Amanda Heats

Here are the heats for the Team Amanda competition on October 10th @ 11am. If everything runs smoothly, it should be done in under 3 hours. Don’t forget we’ll be cooking out Sunday at noon!

Alternating stations. One person works at a time to complete all the reps at the station. Partner A does power cleans while Partner B rests. Then Partner B does double unders while partner A rests. Then Partner A does pull ups while partner B rests….back to the beginning as Partner B does power cleans, Partner A does double unders, Partner B does pull ups, etc

One person must hold the team kettlebell at all times. If the kettlebell touches the ground, both must do 10 burpees each before continuing. You can hold it by any means necessary. Both partners run together and neither partner can start the next movement until both are at the wall. Split reps as you see fit. Event will be time capped.

1000m row for MM teams, 800m for FF teams

Once the timer starts, the two partners will complete a 1000m row (or 800m for gals) as a row relay split into 250m pieces (or 200m for gals). Both team members will row twice. With the remaining time, each team member will have to establish a 3RM front squat. Team members can go in any order, and can go multiple times so long as time allows. If you need to warm up, you do not have to do 3 reps on every attempt. But if you’re going for an official attempt, you need to declare the weight to your judge.

Scaled teams will go from the rack, RX teams will go from the floor. For RX, the first rep can be a full clean. Each station will have one barbell and a multitude of different weights. Teammates are responsible for loading and changing the bar, and telling the judge how much weight they are attempting.
